What natural and vetted means here
Trust starts with clear information. These are the standards Root & Rise uses to review what appears across the Village.
Suppliers are reviewed
Farmers and makers complete an application about what they grow or make, how they source ingredients, and how they work. Root & Rise reviews that information before presenting a supplier as vetted.
The scorecard measures practices
Our 100-point scorecards are tailored to food and farms, wellness, beauty and personal care, and clothing. They look at practical areas such as inputs, sourcing, stewardship, safety, packaging, labor, and transparency. A score reflects the evidence shared with us; it is not a medical or government certification.
Ingredients stay visible
We ask sellers to share complete ingredient or input information whenever it applies. Product pages are meant to help you understand what is included, where it came from, and which details have or have not been documented.
No disease claims
Nothing on Root & Rise should promise to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease. Food, product, recipe, and remedy information is educational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.
Paid relationships are labeled
Sponsored means someone paid for placement. Partner link means Root & Rise may earn something if you follow the link or make a purchase. Those labels describe the relationship; they do not replace our standards or guarantee that a product is right for you.
Remedies on Sage’s Porch
Traditional knowledge, checked for safer sharing
Remedy content is reviewed before publication for clear ingredients, practical cautions, and responsible wording. We remove disease claims and flag situations where a reader should speak with a qualified health professional, including questions about pregnancy, children, allergies, medicines, or ongoing health conditions.
